THE CLASSROOM — I don't know about you, but I like learning new things. I think it's an amazing feeling to figure something out and add a new skill to your repertoire.
What I don't like, however, is the learning part. I remember when I was learning how to play the guitar, I'd get so frustrated that I wanted to quit. Thankfully I didn't, but I did quit on the piano, the viola, snowboarding, Italian and several other things. Apparently, I'm lazy.
Mike Boyd, on the other hand, is not.
Boyd's YouTube channel documents him as he learns new things like a kick flip on a skateboard and learning to to play the guitar left-handed. Boyd's latest feat is solving a Rubik's Cube in under two minutes.
Yesterday's Have You Seen This?
Learning to solve a Rubik's Cube is as easy as Googling the answer and following the steps, but Boyd really commits and learns to solve it in under two minutes. What's most interesting isn't watching Boyd's fingers fly as he turns the cube, it's the facts he shares about the puzzle.
Check out the video and I'll go find something else I can quit.
