SALT LAKE CITY — Thousands of people showed up to watch the air show over the weekend and several of them submitted awesome photos of the event.

The "Warriors Over the Wasatch" air show was held Saturday and Sunday at Hill Air Force Base, and the crowds turned out in droves, with an estimated 600,000 people in attendance. The annual show is one of Utah’s largest events each year, as evidenced by the photos we received of the long lines.

Meanwhile in southern Utah, the wildlife fire in Pine Valley continues to burn and residents sent in photos of the blaze. Started by lightning June 13 in the Dixie National Forest, the Saddle Fire grew to 1,234 acres into Sunday morning, officials reported. As many as 500 residences and 500 additional buildings are threatened by the fire, but mandatory evacuations are no longer in effect.
