THE CRANBERRY BOG — As a father of little kids, I love watching them try new foods.

Seeing my oldest daughter's eyes light up the first time she ever tasted chocolate put a smile on my face. On the other end of that spectrum, I also love it when the small evil side of me takes over and feeds my kids something I know they'll hate, just for the reaction. For example, my son once wanted a bite of a jalapeno. I didn't want to deny the boy, so I let him indulge. I am a monster, but seeing his slow reaction to the taste was all worth DCFS coming after me. Not to mention the boy wanted another bite.

This video shows off some of that from a parent's side, but it also shows that kids are gluttons for punishment. This little guy is eating cranberries and his face is absolutely amazing. These suckers are sour, and it's totally apparent by the way he reacts. Even though these tiny berries are making the boy's jaw seize up and eyes water, he doesn't care. He just wants more.

The part I really resonate with is the parents, however. They cannot stop laughing and keep giving the boy more and more. I feel like I could hang out with these parents because we totally get each other. Our kids are in our lives to bring us joy, love, and pure entertainment.
