INSIDE THE ICE RINK — In case you forgot, professional athletes are just like the rest of us in their love for the game, work ethic — and unbridled passion for great hamburgers.

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin proved that this week.

Seguin took his love of In N Out to a new level, thanks to one Stars fan at a charity event. Also, one wiener dog was having too much fun in El Paso, and Northern Kentucky has the best basketball court in the NCAA.

Here's what made us laugh in sports.

Double-double with just ketchup, please

A Dallas Stars fan who goes by the Twitter handle @lindsfromda1975 was on her way to watch Seguin play in a sled hockey game, and she asked the Stars forward if he wanted to add to her order at In N Out.

He did, tweeting his response — and the fan, whose real name is Lindsey Dortch, came through.

I didn't pass out, so that's good! @tseguinofficialpic.twitter.com/1eZOtsAn8C — linds from the 1975 (@lindsfromda1975) August 30, 2015

Seguin was grateful.

Wiener dog gets way into minor league baseball promotion ========================================================

The El Paso Chihuahuas hosted a Wiener dog race last Thursday (with a name like the Chihuahuas, why wouldn't you?), and one entrant had a hard time calming down when it was time to let the players take back the field.

Corre, perrito, corre.

Norsemen, row =============

It's still early, but Northern Kentucky may have the best basketball arena in the nation in 2015.

The Norsemen unveiled a new design via athletic director Ken Bothof last week, and it includes a Norse ship watermarked in a golden hue and with the words "NKU Norse" painted at center court.

If you still aren't convinced, check out this time lapse of how the new court came to be.
