NOPEVILLE — As we all well know, there are some intense people in this world who do nothing but look for their next massive adrenaline rush.

With the advent of YouTube, these do-not-try-this-at-home junkies have a platform to show-off their bananas behavior, and the Internet loves it. But it’s when a promotional third-party gets involved that things begin to intensify, and Red Bull sure likes to ramp things up.

In this case, they literally ramp things up with a roller coaster and the “French legend of moto trials riding,” 34-year-old Julien Dupont.

Dupont travels and tricks for about three-quarters of a mile on the Montaña Rusa at La Feria de Chapultepec amusement park in Mexico City, a roller coaster that once boasted being the tallest in the world, according to Red Bull. The helmet cam is what really makes the video a stomach-dropping experience, let alone the thought of popping wheelies 108 feet up in the air.

Personally, I’m more than happy to cringe and view these things from the safety of my own home. I’ll gladly be entertained by someone else taking those risks, but I’ll never understand why they do it.
