THANKSGIVINGTON — If you are wondering if we at Have You Seen This? have decided to skip Thanksgiving, think again. We were just holding out for a Thanksgiving video that was fit for our readers. Plus we’re all in for holidays that properly fill our bellies.
Chances are you have heard some version of the hit “All About That Bass” by newcomer Megan Trainor. Even if you haven’t heard the original, covers and parodies have popped up all over the Internet, either proving that Trainor has some serious chops or that she will be one of this decade’s top one-hit wonders. (The cover by cover geniuses Postmodern Jukebox is my personal cover favorite.)
Now a new season-appropriate parody has hit the Internet from the family that brought you the 14-plus-million-views hit “Christmas Jammies.”
“All About That Baste” is a true love song to the beloved Thanksgiving turkey. That is, if the turkey is made buttery and moist thorough basting. Yes, the video is slightly over the top and a bit cheesy, but it’s hard to argue with butter-centric choreography.
