SALT LAKE CITY — A group of 65 World War II veterans returned home Saturday evening after spending the last two days in Washington, D.C., visiting the national memorials that honor their service.
The men and women, along with some of their family members, were passengers aboard the KSL Honor Flight. They were welcomed home by cheering crowds — something they grew accustomed to everywhere they went on their journey.
KSL's Andrew Wittenberg was also at the airport to greet the veterans. Watch his report in the video player above.
