LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming guard Liv Roberts has been selected the Mountain West women's basketball player of the week for games played.

Roberts is the first Cowgirl player to win the weekly honor since Marquelle Dent won the award in December 2015.

Roberts led the Cowgirls to two wins this past weekend with victories over Southern Utah and South Dakota. Wyoming improved to 6-2 on the season and is a perfect 6-0 at home.

Roberts averaged a double-double over two contests with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
