SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A Salt Lake City woman has been charged with aggravated kidnapping in connection with the case of a missing man who police believe was murdered.
KSL-TV reports that 37-year-old Allison Wells was charged Friday in 3rd District Court.
It's unclear is Wells has a lawyer yet.
Wells was one of five people arrested last month in the case of 38-year-old Jason Nakonechni.
Salt Lake police believe Nakonechni was lured to a motel, attacked and later killed.
His body was found in Tooele County on Nov. 21.
Four other suspects also have been charged with aggravated kidnapping in the case.
None of the defendants had been formally charged with murder as of Friday.
