DENVER (AP) — A former Denver Post editor has been named a visiting professor at the University of Colorado and will teach a seminar on the Boulder campus this fall.

The Denver Post reports (http://dpo.st/2bLR4cA ) that Greg Moore will teach a five-week seminar starting in October called "Deadlines and Disruptions: New Issues in the News." The one-credit course for upper-division undergraduates and graduate students.

Moore's seminar will focus on challenges facing public service journalism and feature class discussion, lectures, readings and visits from professionals.

He will also partner with faculty to teach sessions in two journalism courses.

Moore says he looks forward to "the challenge and reward of working with the next generation of journalists."
