RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — The Latest on a shooting in Virginia that left three people injured early Sunday (all times local):

Richmond police are reportedly seeking a suspect they say shot three people near the Virginia Commonwealth University campus on Sunday.

WTVR-TV reports (http://bit.ly/29XnNL4 ) that two of the victims were transported to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. WTVR says police do not believe the victims are university students.

The university said on its website that the shooting occurred after a fight at a party at an apartment. At least one suspect is still at large. The Richmond Police Department is heading the investigation and has increased patrols in the area.

Richmond police are seeking a suspect they say shot three people near the Virginia Commonwealth University campus.

WTVR-TV reports (http://bit.ly/29XnNL4 ) officers found two men and one woman wounded in the 1300 block of West Broad Street about 2:45 am. Sunday.

Two victims were transported to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

WTVR says police have not yet identified the victims, but they do not believe they are VCU students.

No motive has been established and police have not released a description of the suspect.

An investigation is ongoing.
