TORONTO (AP) — The first game of the second round NBA playoff series involving the Raptors and Heat is being played tonight in Toronto. They met four times during the season with Toronto coming out on top in three of the games. The Raptors advanced with a seven game win over the Indiana Pacers in the first round while the Heat needed seven games to dispose of Charlotte.

OAKLAND (AP) — Stephen (STEH'-fehn) Curry will once again be watching from the sidelines nursing his injured right knee tonight as his Warriors entertain Portland. The Warriors won the opening game of the Western Conference playoff series 118-106 as Klay Thompson had 37 points. The third game will be in Portland Saturday and it looks like Curry will be able to play.

NASHVILLE (AP) — San Jose won 28 road games this season, most in the NHL, and this evening the Sharks are in Nashville to face the Predators in Game 3 of their NHL playoff series. The Sharks won the opening two games on their own ice and look to take a commanding 3-0 lead this evening. They also swept all three games on the road against the Ducks in the first round of the playoffs.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — After splitting the opening two games of their Stanley Cup playoff series, the Stars and Blues are now in St. Louis. The Stars took the first game 2-1 while St. Louis came back on Sunday to take the second contest 4-3 in overtime. Game 4 will also be played in the Gateway City.

NEW YORK (AP) — It's a new venue for the Islanders and Lightning in their NHL second round playoff. The first two games took place in Tampa and the Islanders won the first 5-3, while the Lightning came back for a 4-1 win in Game 2. One note from the first two game — the Lightning outscored the Islanders 6-2 over the last four periods.
